Spinning Cassiopeia

Here’s a picture of Cassiopeia that I took this summer in Germany. I had taken about 7 pictures that night, but all of them were screwed up. I don’t remember why though. I finished the roll only a month ago, so that’s why it took me so long to get this developed. As you can see, I had to boost the contrast a great deal to make something show up, which made the colours change too. But… at least you can clearly see that not every star has the same colour :).

It’s a 20 minute exposure, if I remember correctly, of the north star area, so that you can clearly see that the stars turn around the north star. Cassiopeia is the ‘W’-shaped constellation :).
