I participated in a volleyball night tourney last night with my housemate Femke. She had invited me a few days ago, as somebody in the team they were playing with cancelled. So we started with the tourney at around 10.30 pm and we went home eight hours later at 6.30 am. As the night before had been pretty late as well, I didn’t have much trouble keeping up the energy.

It all went surprisingly well actually. Finally my serves got better, which was a major improvement, but my general playing was pretty good too. So, keeping in mind that I’ve played volleyball twice now in the last five years, I played pretty well I think :). The last time I played was in the Brothers & Sisters Tourney

And even more surprisingly… Thanks to my excellent performance **cough cough**, we won the tourney! I actually think it was mostly because we were all in a pretty good mood and were really enjoying eachother’s company :). So there were never any hard feelings when something didn’t go too well. So, Femke forced me to receive the prize… ;)…A bottle of pretty good wine.

Fem, thanks for inviting me. It was real fun :).

I’m starting to consider playing volleyball next year… Who knows ;).
