One of my housemates informed us two days ago that she’s expectating a baby :). She’s been in the dorm for quite a long time and she was already looking out for an own home for quite some time now, so it’s not that plans changed dramatically. But still, it was apparently not a planned pregnancy, but she’s nevertheless happy about it I think.

She’s in her mid-30’s now so it wasn’t really totally unexpected, but she doesn’t really seem a very motherlike person, and I actually recall her saying on one of our barbeque evenings on the balcony that she wasn’t really interested in children. Well… I’m pretty sure that’s going to change now ;).

So, in about six months, we’re expecting a dorm-baby :P. By that time though, she should have found herself a new home already with her boyfriend hopefully. A dorm isn’t really the best place to live for a baby… :|

Anyway, I hope everything will go alright for her and the pregnancy will evolve without any major problems.
