Hey guys :)

I have made the decision to hide certain things of my blog from people I don’t know or don’t want them to see. I won’t go into the why’s of this, but this means that from from now on you will sometimes see posts titled ‘Sorry, you must be logged in and authorized to see this post’. Now don’t be sad, a huge majority of you will still be able to see the posts. It’s just a matter of providing me your email address and name by registering for my blog. Once registered (takes all of 30 seconds) I will authorize you to view those posts or not, depending on who you are. Once authorized you can see the posts by logging in.

So… those that haven’t registered yet, please do so here and login when you see a post that you can’t read. It’s easier than you think ;).

If you have a problem, questions or you forgot how to spell your name, I’m sure you know where to contact me.

At the moment there is however an incompatibility…

…between the plugin I’m using to hide posts and the Recent Comments plugin. I really like that little plugin, so I will be working on getting that functioning again. I’ll probably need some help from outside for this though, so it could take a few days, if not more.

And now that I’m discussing blog updates anyway… I’ve also added a plugin to make better use of the excerpt function of a post. This means that I can make part of a post be hidden on the main page, to prevent the main page from getting too cluttered or seeming too long and boring. The nice thing is however that with the new plugin you have two ways of seeing the rest of the post. Either by going to the post itself or by clicking the ‘Read more right here…‘ link which uses javascript to make the rest of the post appear without going to a new page. Nifty isn’t it? :P

[EDIT] I also fixed a bug which caused pictures and the first lines of my post to shift a lot to the right in some browsers. [/EDIT]
