Oh boy, that was fun :). We had a barbecue yesterday with Menno, our housemate that left us almost three months ago to live with his girl friend. The people present were Menno, Maaike (his girl friend), Femke, Bas, Deirdre, Annemarie, Saskia, Jeroen (Saskia’s boy friend), Desiree and me. So everybody except Marijn was there at some point. I think Marijn forgot about it or something… He certainly didn’t show up :P.

Anyway, Saskia and me went out shopping for food around 5pm, and started doing some preparations. Around 6pm…

…we started with the barbecue. The weather wasn’t great though. It was warm and dry, but it was completely overcast. But it was still a lot of fun. I had quite a lot of drinks actually to be honest. Didn’t get drunk or something, but after about four glasses of rosé and four shots of vanilla liquor, I was feeling ever so slightly tipsy ;).

The meat was great btw… Jeroen did a nice job of keeping everything not burnt (at one point we had a giant flame though because of the fat that has been piling up on the grill in the few years we’ve had that barbecue) while I made sure there was always marinated meat available ;). So we really had a nice time yesterday evening… Thanks for coming, Menno! ;)
