Quicky’s Got A Job!!!!!!
I got myself a job today! I’m going to work in a Belgian chocolate factory called IBC in July :D. I’m not sure what exactly I’m going to do, but apparently I’m going to be at the computer control of the production or something… Next Friday I’m going to pass by to present myself and get some first info and I’m starting to actually work on the 4th of July. So next Friday I’m probably going to have a better idea of what I’m actually going to be doing.
I’m also not sure yet how much it’s going to earn me, but…
…it’ll be according to the standards and dependant on my age etc as usual. The friend of my mom’s that pointed us out to this job told us it earns quite well, so I’m not worried. As long as I have work for a full month, I’m happy.
The first two weeks I’m probably going to be working from 2.30pm till 11pm or something like that and the two last weeks from 8am to 4.30pm… So the first two weeks I’m going to be working in the evenings. That’s not very convenient, but it’ll be a new experience, and I’m (almost) always open for new experiences :).
Thanks for looking into this, mom ;).

Congrats man! That’s great news. Always good to earn a little extra for the school year. I really hope I can land myself a part-time job by the time I start my studies, too, because our apartment’s gonna cost a fair bit. Anyways, got quite a bit to do before Jutta’s folks arrive, so I’ll go do some of that stuff now.
Talk to you later!

Students in the Netherlands have a two-month break in summer. Students in Belgium have a three-month break. However, students in the Netherlands usually are done with their exams in june sooner than Belgian students. Some are even finished in May already. One thing is sure… In July and August no bachelor students are working except those that are redoing exams in August.
Hope that explains ;)…

And how was your first day of working. How much chocolate do you have eat today. It’s really a nice job, working in a belgium chocolate factory. Because belgium chocolate is delicious.
My first holiday job was in a fishery store, making the fish ready for selling. After my work I have to wash myself due to the fish air around me.
Enjoy the time of doing something totaly different.
Greetings Frans

Heh, guess what… I didn’t have to work yesterday :|… One of the employees got sick, so there was nobody available able to explain me what I had to do apparently :(.
So… I’m starting today instead of yesterday.
A messy start to this summer job, that’s for sure… Let’s hope the pay is not that messy ;).
Working in a fish store… Now that stinks! Yuck :P
