Funny Car Advertisement

Lol, this is one funny car advertisement… Turn on your speakers though or you’ll miss the joke. :)

Here’s the link: Funny Car Advertisement

Btw… does anybody know how to make the link such that the browser automatically plays the file and not just asks to download it? Hmm… it seems to work in IE, but not in Firefox… Oh well.

IE uses a windows media player plugin (surprise). If you can find a comparable mozilla plugin you could do that. Anyways, it is still downloading it to your computer either way. If you want, you can use the step below to have it open in a specific media player of your choice automatically.

To change how Firefox handles different file extensions, go to tools->options->downloads->view/edit actions.

Oh, and the reason it opens a blank browser window, is because you have “target=new” on the hyperlink ;)

You can change that behavior in firefox as well if desired. There are steps at mozilla.org on how to disable new windows or change it so it opens a new tab instead.

I know it opens a new window ;). I do that on purpose. I hope people don’t mind too much but I absolutely LOVE the new window = new tab feature I’m using in Firefox. When I click an external link on a site, I almost always use the middle mouse button to click a link instead of the left button so that it opens a new window (which is forced into a new tab) instead of opening in the same tab. I just love it :).
