Susanne Visiting Me !!!

Yes, yes! Susanne’s going to visit me next September :). Somewhere early September, I’ll be taking the TGV (Train à Grand Vitesse / High Speed Train) to Paris where I’ll meet Susanne and visit the Louvre with her (among other things). She’s in France right now for a festival in Bordeaux, in which she participated last year as well. Then in the evening of the same day, we’ll be taking the TGV back to Lille which is about 15 miles from my place.

Then we have two more days together to show her around my place, meet my mom, my sister, maybe even my dad, play settlers and visit Bruges and/or Antwerp or something like that, after which she will head back to Paris, to take the plane back to the US a day or two later. Only three days together, but I’m pretty excited… **winks at both Susanne *and* noodle :P**

I just got the train tickets, so all’s set :).

    Hey, I know that your mom is going to pick you two up in Lille. I can arrange to drive you there when Susanne returns, if that’s okay with you. Of course I’d like to meet her a little bit “more intense” than as a taxi driver, so I’d like to invite you two at my place for an early supper the day she returns and then drive you to Lille. What do you think of that?
