Eventful Weekend: The Bad Part
This morning I was supposed to participate in a running contest of 10 km together with a bunch of other people from our volleyball club. Unfortunately I was already ‘out’ before we even started :-S.
When we were riding to the train station on bike this morning the handles of my bike were slippery because of the rain, and for some reason my hand slipped off it, losing my balance… My wheel turned and I fell smack to the ground :-(.
My pants were torn, but I didn’t feel anything so I thought it wasn’t bad, but when I got a better look at it while we were standing on the platform at the train station it looked pretty bad. I had it treated a bit on the train with an emergency aid kit, but I was advised to go to the hospital with it to clean it up better :(. At that moment I wasn’t feeling very comfortable myself either because I still didn’t feel a thing, and my skin felt completely numb :-S. So I went to a hospital in Amsterdam with one of the girls where they cleaned the wound as much as they could.
Luckily it was just a flesh wound and everything else seemed to be okay. I did go to the running contest afterwards, but obviously I didn’t participate. Too bad the weather was awfully bad though (1ยบ C and raining with wind). I had payed 40 euros to participate and get there and because of the damn fall all I could do was shiver in the cold next to the circuit :(.
We all went out to have a pizza though afterwards, which was nice :). If you wanna see me at my sexiest, then please visit me in my room at university where I’ll be wearing shorts to make sure the wound can heal without being covered… ;)

Sorry :/
Get well soon!
(And I honestly never wished you too fall even I admit I was thinking about you when falling myself… Phew… no… I’m not guilty in that!)
But I’m sorry it happened :/. Maybe some female attention to you ‘at your sexiest’ will be able to turn it to ‘not so bad part’ :p.

Heh, hadn’t even thought about it yet, that you had fallen before as well :P.
And yeah… any girls around who want to give me a treat? :D
Just kidding ;)

Bah… I had a pretty restless night… :|
Now I still have to find a way to get to uni in long pants without messing with the wound too much :-/.

you’ll just have to cover it with some sort of non-sticky bandage for the journeys there and back again. Speaking of which, I almost split the tip of my left thumb in two with a screwdriver a little before morning break today. Got a nice 2 cm long gash across “main” surface of the fingertip, fairly deep too I think. Luckily, I had bandaids in my desk drawer and got it covered up quickly and with enough pressure to keep it from bleeding very much. :)
Anyways, hope your knee heals fast, or you’ll have to change your nickname. ;)

Ouchie… I’m apparently not the only one with fresh wounds :).
I rode to uni with some soft stretchable jogging pants. It went okay to get here. However, I have the feeling the ride back won’t be as pleasant… It’s starting to get fixated, so bending gets harder and harder :-/.
Thanks for the hug, Mikal ;)

:-S Sorry to hear that.
Alas, no wonder you stated at Yahoo! status that you’re lying on your bed because of sickness. I was thinking that ‘heh, is this guy having love sick?’ :) Take good rest :)

Actually… It’s not because of my knee that I’ve been lying in my bed most of the day today… I think I caught the flu as well last Sunday :(.
Feeling feverish, feeling both warm and cold, headache, very tired, etc… And that on top of a knee that makes me limp like an old man :-/.
