Lord of the Rings marathon
Last weekend I did a Lord of the Rings marathon together with a housemate and a friend of his. All three movies - the extended versions! - starting at 2pm and wrapping up at 3 am :P. It was great! Wonderful to see the story unfold in one day without big gaps between the movies. I was truly impressed :). So I can definitely recommend this to everyone. We didn’t even have difficulties staying awake, though it was 11.5 hours of movie!
This was our schedule, where we had 25-minute breaks between every two dvd’s. Somewhere in the middle we ate the pizza’s we ordered:
- 14:00 - 15:40 — The Fellowship of the Ring - DVD 1
- 16:05 - 17:35 — The Fellowship of the Ring - DVD 2
- 18:00 - 19:40 — The Two Towers - DVD 1
- 20:05 - 21:50 — The Two Towers - DVD 2
- 22:15 - 00:15 — The Return of the King - DVD 1
- 00:40 - 02:30 — The Return of the King - DVD 2
Consumption (the three of us together):
- 4 bags of Lay’s potato chips
- 4 liters of Coca-Cola
- 2 pasta’s, 1 pizza
- 18 beers (Palm)
What a healthy evening, eh? :D
Anybody interested in a Star Wars Marathon (I - VI) some day? That’d be about 14 hours though :P.

What does “one pasta” mean?

with ‘one pasta’, I mean one Italian meal involving pasta as the main ingredient :P. On the menu card you’d read “Pizza’s” and “Pasta’s” as headings for the pizza and pasta sections. I hope that helps?

A group of us from work had a Star Wars marathon but it was broke up over a weekend. Episodes 1 & 2 on a Friday, 3 & 4 on Saturday and 5 & 6 on a Sunday. It was pretty cool.
