SKC First Competition Evening

SKC competition eveningLast Friday it was SKC’s first competition evening of the season. I tried to take some pictures of the games with the Canon Powershot A630 I bought for my sister, but it’s really hard to do in those dark conditions in the hall. If you only use flash and short exposures you get a very dark background, and if you use long exposures everything gets blurred. I tried to compensate the long exposures by flashing and freezing the motion, but I’m not very excited about the results… Maybe I’ll get something better next time.

I used the opportunity to try out Adobe Lightroom’s web gallery feature to make a Flash photo gallery of the volleyball pictures. You can find it here.
