Lost in the Dark

Gloomy ForestIt’s dark
humid

Wisps of mist are flowing
    slowly through the trees

I feel cold

I feel lost
I feel lost in this forest of conflicting emotions
with no sight of a clearing
I feel lost

thoughts of wonder cloud my mind as i think of ways to speak
words gone away lost in the dark
    many of places to run
finding no comfort no remorse and no love
finding no way to find my self
continuing on this path of darkness i begin to feel a breeze -not one known already to the human soul but one i can only feel when a dangerous thought approaches my unawakening mind.
